Massachuset – ‘Every Child. Every Minute. Every Day’ tagline of The Paul A. Dever Elementary School. Dever Elementary turnaround under the management of Blueprint Schools Network, a Massachusetts-based non-profit organization that works with schools around the country to support the implementation of five core research-based strategies for school improvement
Dr. Fishburn Executive Principal, Dever Elementary School said “You can be proud of the progress that the students are making at the Dever. Our younger students are making great progress with their reading and math while our upper grade students are outperforming their peers in other schools around the state and country.”
The Paul A. Dever Elementary School to support the implementation of five core research-based strategies for school improvement:
- Ensuring every student has an excellent teacher and a school leader committed to their success;
- Setting clear, consistent standards for academic achievement and establishing a school-wide focus on preparing all students for college;
- Increasing instructional time;
- Providing daily, small group tutoring and intervention to students using highly qualified and well-trained instructors; and
- Collecting assessment data frequently to monitor each student’s academic progress and tailor instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
Blueprint Schools Network works to ensure these five core strategies are implemented faithfully, consistently, and with high quality at Dever in order to provide an excellent education to all students who attend.

Our partnership is essential as we prepare all our students to be college and career ready and I thank you for that. That being said, I wanted to let you know about changes for next year. Many things will remain the same including: much of the staff, the great customer service, the focus on college and career readiness, our core values, many of the same after school family events, the same principal, and many others.
Dr. Fishburn said there will be some changes too. Some of these changes will include: more emphasis on the arts, project based learning, more culturally infused lessons, a more inclusive special education model, and other changes that we will continue to communicate.[]
